Impact of HOPE
In the seaside town of Tela, they met Juanita, a recipient of a water storage unit about 3 years ago, who trusted Christ and is now following Him. The Lord has used Pastor Luis and Wendy to disciple and mentor people in their community. Pray for Pastor Luis and Wendy as they disciple Tela and her family.
During their trip there, they also met several families in Agua Salada, a small village along a very rugged mountain road which received 10 bathroom facilities this year. Pastor Jose Santana and Kike Vega have been sharing the gospel with these families. You can read the full story at Building Hope for Agua Salada. In addition to past and current projects, they have also had the opportunity to meet a family that may be a recipient of a future project. Pray for the local pastor who is meeting with them and sharing the gospel regularly. Pray that their hearts will be softened and open to God's truth.
As the team continues to serve churches, businesses, coffee shops and restaurants across the US, we are encouraged by the ministry results in Honduras and in Mexico where dozens have heard the gospel and at least five people have trusted in Jesus so far this year. Please pray for our leadership team as we anticipate the launch of HOPE Coffee Canada later this year and the expansion of ministry components into Uganda next year. You are a vital part of the spread of the gospel through the churches in Honduras and Mexico, and in the future, to other countries as well.
Last year, Hope Coffee was able to have an impact through local churches in Honduras and Mexico. There were 22 shelter projects, 9 water projects, and 18 salvations. Here is the link to learn more about the impact: Impact Report.
