Women's ministry

Early on I worked in the Choluteca area of Honduras. Back then mules were our only means of transportation. Gertrude Clark and I helped with short term Bible institutes. When Edith Peters arrived, we started an innovative program of teacher training and practical application in Vacation Bible Schools.

While caring for my invalid mother, we had a hostel for young women doing their university training. It was our joy to see nineteen ladies, which were the largest percentage to live with us off and on, become directly involved in the Lord's work in their local churches.
