Through the relentless love and continual invitations from two friends in high school, Jessy began to accept the bible as the ultimate source of truth. During her time at Western Washington University, she began to believe in the possibility of participating in foreign ministry through her involvement in the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages program. In this program, Jessy spent two months teaching in Queretaro, Mexico. She gained a love for the culture and a genuine passion for teaching.

Jessy has been active as a leader in youth ministry for several years and has a deep love for both scripture and discipleship. Jessy is graduating with a degree in mathematics and plans to joyously share her passion for both God and mathematics through teaching students in Puebla.
