The Martinez family is serving in discipleship, bible engagement and reflection of the scriptures, leadership training, and social responsibility with the local churches. Their health ministry is working with a sustainable medical clinic that reaches patients who are not able to afford medical services. They are leaving a mark in their community by social responsibility.
Serving in the Integral mission in Honduras
Enrique was born in Honduras and Norma in Argentina, they met through IFES. They felt the calling to work as national missionaries and started a church and a clinic in an isolated area of Honduras, called Marale. They worked at the Evangelical Hospital of Siguatepeque for 30 years. which was founded by Camino Global.
Enrique was director and Norma worked as a teacher and coordinator at the training center for nursing assistants and hospital laboratory techniques.
They have served in various ministries in their local church Bethel. Currently, Norma coordinates two Bible group studies with young women and is also in charge of a small bookstore in the church; Enrique coordinates the pastoral team.
They initiated various ministries such as the Evangelical Education Community, which is a bilingual school, the Scripture Union of Honduras, which works in the promotion of the Bible among children and youth, the Honduras Theological Fraternity, and the Camino Network for Integral Mission.
