Phil and Martha's focus is mentoring leaders for the church . Currently, in Honduras, Phil is mentoring a small group of pastors through teaching, encouraging, supporting and sharing ministry opportunities together. Martha's focus is with women's ministries, both locally and nationally. They desire to develop disciples of Christ who will in turn develop other committed disciples of Christ.
Discipling and Mentoring Leaders in Honduras
Phil grew up as a missionary kid in Liberia, West Africa. Martha grew up in central Michigan. They met at college through the church they attended. After college, Martha attended the Advanced Studies program at Moody and then went to Venezuela as a short term missionary. After Phil and Martha were married, Phil attended Grace Theological seminary before leaving for the Costa Rica as missionaries. They have two children, Tim and Grace.
