Making disciples through Radio and leadership development

Steve and Elisa have served in Guatemala since 1971 in the areas of literacy, publications, radio, and training of rural church leaders. Steve was part of the committee that put together the Celebremos su Gloria hymnal, which is widely used throughout Latin America. He has also been involved in emergency relief and disaster management responding to earthquakes, hurricanes and refugee situations throughout Central America and Mexico.

Steve served as Guatemala Field Director and continues now in a team coordinating role, reflecting the mission's new internal structure. Elisa ministers to women through counseling and encouragement.

Steve and Elisa have three grown children, two of whom work in international relief and development, and four grandchildren.
