Terry and Helen have served in Mexico with Camino Global since 1992, first in church-planting in Queretaro and for the past thirteen years on the faculty of the Puebla Bible Seminary in Puebla.  In addition to the work at the seminary, they continue to serve part-time in church planting as well as in evangelistic outreaches through music.  Terry directs the 250 voice evangelistic choir in Puebla.

Serving through Church Planting, Training Leaders and Evangelism through Music

The Vanderwerfs served in youth and music ministry full time in Romeo, MI, for eight years before joining Camino Global to serve in Mexico.  They have helped in church planting and development in four churches during their twenty years in Mexico.  Terry has a music education degree and the Lord has opened up many doors to use music at the seminary, the summer music camp in Valsequillo, Puebla and the large evangelistic outreaches of the United Choir (Coro Unido) of Puebla.  The Vanderwerfs currently live in Puebla, Mexico.  They have three children: Amy (married to Jordan), Becky (married to Benjamin) and Tim (17) and three grandchildren.
