Scott grew up in Pennsylvania and Ruth was born into a missionary family in Guatemala. They met at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and have served as missionaries with Camino Global since 1989.

Global Training and Resourcing

The Yinglings ministered in Mexico through evangelism, discipleship, leadership training and literature development and distribution for more than 16 years. In 2010 the Yingling family moved to the Dallas area, allowing Scott to develop and lead the training and resourcing ministry of Camino Global. Ruth works with Scott, translating, editing and developing training materials. She also works with Camino's missionary kids.

Scott and Ruth have five grown children. Josiah is preparing for missionary service in South Asia. Brianna and Aron are finishing their degrees at Moody Bible Institute and Seminary. Monica and Keegan live at home while they study at local colleges.
