Chris and Beth teach missions and counseling at the Al Andalus Theological Seminary in Sevilla near the Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo where the 16th century Spanish reformation took place. Chris serves as the rector for the seminary and leads groups from churches to tour the ancient Monastery and reformation sites in Spain.

Discipling and mobilizing servant leaders in Andalucía

North Carolina natives Chris and Beth have four children and seven grandchildren who live in the US and Spain.

Called to serve the training needs of believers in Sevilla in 1998, Chris along with long-time Spanish believer friends established the ABRE Foundation (1999) and the Al Andalus Theological Seminary (2003). Chris will soon publish a time travel historical fiction trilogy written on location in the old Monastery and based on research into the lives of the 16th century Spanish reformers. He earned a Doctor of Ministry in Missions/Intercultural Studies from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and enjoys fishing, traveling, and hiking. 

Beth completed a PhD in professional counseling from Liberty University and is a North Carolina Licensed Professional Counselor.  She enjoys cooking, hosting guests, knitting, and visiting family and friends (ask about her cookbook of recipes from Sevilla). 

Their original interest in missions came from participating in InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where they also met and fell in love.
