Global Impact Online
June 10, 2012
Camino's vision for e-ministry (online evangelism and discipleship in Spanish) is to present the gospel multiple times to every Spanish speaker via Internet technologies, provide follow up for them with a network of online missionaries, and then connect them to healthy local churches capable of discipling and helping them grow in their walk with Christ.
Translated from Spanish as "faithful worker," the online ObreroFiel ministry began in 2003 and has since become one of the most used tools on the Internet by Spanish-speaking Christian leaders. The ObreroFiel website provides more than 6,000 easily accessible biblical tools and resources for free, accessed by thousands of Spanish speakers in more than 120 nations.
Since 2010, partnership with Global Media Outreach has enabled Camino to reach a new online audience: tens of thousands of Spanish speakers searching for spiritual answers online. Dozens of Camino missionaries and national leaders invest time following up with these new believers via email and online discipleship courses.
